Annual Auction - 2013 - Success

The board of directors of Maine Youth Fish & Game Association would like to thank our many sponsors, donors, and friends that attended our annual dinner & auction fundraiser.

A special thanks goes out to the Elks Club for their support in both the rental of the hall and a $2,000 grant that they successfully wrote and secured funding for 10 bows and all of the necessary equipment to go with them.

The Board would also like to thank the Penobscot County Conservation Association for all of their support, including the very generous $5,000 donation that presented at the dinner.

The evening was a huge success and grossed nearly $23,000 dollars, with approximately $2,000 in expenses.

The event was highlighted by many items in the live auction, Scottish auction and card games for larger prizes such as ice augers, rifles and shotguns.

A very dedicated volunteer kitchen staff prepared and served nearly 250 people a wonderful ham and all the fixings dinner.

We were very happy to see many familiar faces and even some new ones at the event.

Thank you for another great annual event.  These funds will make our summer camps and annual operational budget possible.

Vice President and Auction Chairman
