A family-friendly event that invites participants of all ages to enjoy a day on the ice. Held at the association’s lodge on Pickerel Pond (44.9713° N, 68.4531° W), the event provides a great opportunity for families to learn about ice fishing, try out equipment, and enjoy the outdoors together. Volunteers are on hand to offer instruction, share tips, and ensure a safe and welcoming experience for everyone. It’s a perfect way to introduce kids and adults alike to one of Maine’s favorite winter traditions.
